They have been touring for over 9 years and were the first company to offer daily group excursions up to the Santa Ynez Valley. Their tours are unique in that they focus not only on enjoyment of the Wine Country, but education concerning the wines and wine making process.
Wine edVentures' tours are fully guided, providing the personal attention and service that will make your tour more enjoyable and more memorable! Guides are extremely knowledgeable and are well trained to teach guests about the area's local wines and viticulture! For the more experienced guests, the guides will tailor the tours to you in order to make it a valuable and useful tour for all. Private tours are also available, allowing you to go at your own pace at selected wineries, with your own private guide.
Whether you choose to go on a group tour, or a private tour, you will be picked up and dropped off at The Montecito Inn. Enjoy an amazing day in the world renowned Santa Barbara Wine Country, and upon your return home, you'll be able to describe your wine experience to your family and friends, like a true wine connoisseur!
Daily Deluxe Excursion
- The Wine edVentures group tour picks you up at the Montecito Inn and takes you to the Wine Country for a guided tour. This tour offers a broad overview of the Santa Barbara Wine Country, visiting wineries across the valley. You'll learn about the viticulture of the area, the basics of wine production and "proper" tasting techniques. Get a first hand look at some of our award-winning wineries and vineyards with a knowledgeable tour guide to lead the way!
- You will have a guide dedicated to your group that is there to make sure you enjoy your day and gain some knowledge that you can use going forward in purchasing or drinking wine. You'll take part in interactive tasting demonstrations and have a chance to learn about the wines and their production.

- Freshly made-to-order picnic lunch (choice of freshly made sandwich or wrap, side salad, kettle chips, homemade cookie and bottled water)

Private Tour
- You're a la carte option. The tour is completely tailored to your desires.
- With a private Wine edVentures tour, you are free to create your own day or have one of Wine edVentures' knowledgeable guides help you create a unique tour. Select from a list of recommended wineries in order to put together an itinerary that will give you the most that the Santa Barbara Wine Country has to offer! All of the educational information on production and viticulture is still included.
- A private Wine edVentures tour generally consists of tastings at four wineries, a 19 oz. tasting glass, an upgraded picnic lunch at one of your selected wineries, and the dedicated service of your own private tour guide throughout the day. You'll also have an exclusive behind the scenes tour at one of your selected wineries! This type of tour allows for more interaction with your guide in order to make the most of the educational aspect of the tour.
- You may also include a private tour and discussion with one of the local winemakers!
- Stay longer, and enjoy a gourmet dinner in the Valley or Santa Barbara.
